Thomas Austerveil founded a_a&d in 2007 after working for many years on large scale projects for architects Norman Foster and Paul Andreu, as well as for the past 4 years in close association with SORANE SA (Switzerland) specializing in energy rationalization. He studied architecture at Cornell University in the United States, and the ETH in Switzerland.
Viviane Austerveil is by turn a Painter, Photographer, Architect and Designer for Furniture, Textiles and Contemporary rugs. She graduated from the Ecole Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris, and has designed for Habitat, Primrose Bordier, Le Printemps, Roche-Bobois, Tisca and Sam Laik with exhibits at Habita 86, SAD 85-87 and more. She also creates gardens and terraces.
She has been widely published throughout her career in publications such as AD Architectural Digest, Maison Française, Maison de Marie-Claire, Décoration Internationale, Maisons et Jardins, Le Figaro and more. She has never stopped multiplying her artistic experiences through her encounters and the numerous cultural and technological advancements which regularly nourish all artistic trends.
